Shen Tank is an after school design and innovation club offered to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students from all three Shenendehowa middle schools. Shen Tank will meet after school till 5:00 on Wednesday's starting in late September.

 

Club members will experience hands on problem-solving, collaboration, empathy, design, prototyping, presentation skills and entrepreneurship all through Human Centered Design projects and competitions.

The first 8 weeks will encompass the Design and Innovation learning process. The next 4 weeks, after Thanksgiving break, will be about rapid creation Shen Challenges. Upon returning from the Holiday break the club members will work on projects to be entered in the Shen Inventor competition held the first week of February. Lastly, the final 6 weeks will be a full court press working on creations for the Shen Tank competion, which will be held the last Wednesday of March.
